Mephedrone Lab Discovered in Bali: Two Foreigners Detained

An illegal mephedrone production lab has been found in Bali. Indonesia’s National Narcotics Agency said the operation took place in Gianyar on 5–6 March.

Russian nationals with the initials N.T. and T.S. were detained. Another suspect is still wanted. The operation was carried out together with customs, immigration and the Bali police.

Middle East Conflict Triggers 35 Flight Cancellations at Bali Airport

At Bali Airport, 35 international flights have already been cancelled due to the closure of airspace in the Middle East: 20 departures and 15 arrivals.

The cancellations are linked to airspace closures in several countries amid the US–Israel and Iran conflict. Airlines estimate that 5,905 passengers were unable to depart from Bali.
