A tranquil and green oasis on one of the main streets of Kuta.
This place has a long history, originally opened in 1990 as a coffee shop, offering the best coffee and pastries in the city. The institution became so popular that it was decided to turn the cafe into a restaurant and open a bar. The place is very pleasant, green, in the center of the restaurant you can see a big tree - it is a mango tree, in season you can see the white mango fruit ripening. White mango/Wani mannga is a special variety of mango that grows in Bali.
The menu brings together the best from different parts of the world, including Indonesia. Some traditional Indonesian dishes are unique and can only be tasted here. The European cuisine is also very interesting, salads, soups, fish and meat dishes, everything is worth a try. There are gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, marked in the menu with special signs. They cook qualitatively and deliciously. A special ode to desserts, or rather to the famous specialty pastries, which are made from the very opening in their own bakery, which is located here.
All baked goods are made according to their own recipes from quality products. The most delicious are Black Forrest, Black Forest cake, chocolate sponge cake with cherry filling, decorated with whipped cream, chocolate, and cherries, Mango Cheese Cake - mango cheesecake, Coconut cake - cake with coconut, served with own-made passion fruit sauce (depends on the season, out of season without sauce), Pear tarte tatin - tarte tatin with pear.
The restaurant has several rooms, the first floor is for smokers, if you can't stand the smell of tobacco, choose the second floor, it is completely non-smoking. The staff is dressed in traditional batik clothes, looks authentic. Prices are average, 16% tax not included.
