A “Little brother” of the famous Balinese restaurant Bumbu Bali.
Bumbu Bali 1 became so popular that every evening all the tables were occupied, and there were many more who wanted to get in and try their wonderful cuisine. After the success of the “big brother”, the owner decided to open a second restaurant, with the same name and cuisine. The difference of this place only in the number of seats, this restaurant is more compact, and there is a unique arak bar, where you can try different types of national Balinese moonshine:)
You can try Balinese and Indonesian cuisine, but the emphasis is on local Balinese cuisine. This cuisine is different from Indonesian, and in general from Asian cuisine, it is a unique, peculiar authentic cuisine, using unique combinations of products, spices, spices. Oddly enough, there are not many places in Bali that offer and prepare authentic local cuisine well. Bumbu Bali is one of those few places!
Recommended, definitely, there are dishes that you can only find and taste here.
The owner is European and you can feel it, the service here is on the level, the staff speaks good English. The kitchen is clean, cleanliness is monitored, as well as the quality and freshness of products and especially seafood and fish, only selected seafood is bought here, you can be sure and safe in the quality. Cooked in the traditional way, as the Balinese and cooked at home, without the use of unnatural additives. You can see it yourself, the kitchen is open! Especially for Russian-speaking guests there is a clear menu in Russian. For vegetarians there is a good choice of vegetarian Balinese dishes.
While you order, they bring traditional krupuk chips with homemade tomato sambal, and this is very much in theme, the smells and appetizing views of plates passing by do their job:) Every Sunday you can feel the atmosphere of the island and enjoy not only the local cuisine, but also the traditional dances. And if you have a desire to learn how to cook yourself, the restaurant has special master classes where you will learn how to cook Balinese cuisine. They are held 3 times a week, include a visit to the market, where you will be told about local products (you can do without the market), cooking 20 local recipes with a Balinese chef, transportation, trip to Jimbaran market, certificate, breakfast, lunch, soft drinks.
There is no wi fi here and there will be none:)! They want you to enjoy the cuisine, the socializing, and the stars above your head:)
