A bar with live music and dancing in the center of Ubud.
Atmosphere:
A rare thing for Ubud – a quality bar! And with dancing too :)
No mas is located in the heart of Ubud – on Monkey Forest Street. It is on the second floor of the Liap Liap restaurant, in front of the entrance to the Folk pool restaurant.
Here you get a kind of “all inclusive”: during the day you can sunbathe and swim, drinking a cold coconut with a crab burger at Folk, have a baked jackfruit dinner at Liap Liap at sunset, and then go to a car party at No mas.
In addition to the excellent bar (it has everything you need: cold beer, signature cocktails and a wine list), No Mas is famous for its cultural program – every evening you will find something interesting here.
On Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, the bar features live music from the Siji Band - romantic Latin tunes from a local band (they play great!).
On Wednesdays and Thursdays, there's rock 'n' roll, and on Saturdays and Sundays, there's a special DJ set from invited DJs.
The whole party starts at 9 p.m. and lasts until 1 a.m.
Cuisine:
No Mas doesn't have a cuisine as such - you can order something substantial from the Folk or Liap Liap menus.
However, the bar does have a great selection of snacks (including vegetarian ones): tempura cauliflower with hummus, fried chicken wings, fried tempeh with sambal and Margherita pizza.
I recommend trying the signature Mamasita tacos: crispy corn tortillas stuffed with avocado and red beans. It's quite a full dinner, especially with the signature margarita and fiery Latin rhythms from the Siji band :)
Drinks:
Alcohol in all its diversity.
A large selection of imported beer (along with the classic Bintang). There is craft Stark.
A good selection of wine - there is Spanish sparkling Freixnet by the glass.
Along with the classics - an impressive list of signature cocktails: try drinks from the series with the romantic name Drinkspiration - for example, Ginger Binger based on gin, Cointreau and vanilla syrup or Bacon Old Fashioned with bourbon on bacon.
There are light and sweet tropical cocktails - for example, No Mas Garden Ice tea based on vodka, gin, tequila, sour mix and midori.
For those who do not drink alcohol, the menu offers non-alcoholic mocktails and juices.
