Atmosphere:
Chai'Ba doesn't look like a traditional Indian restaurant at all.
Stylish furniture, forged details, designer lamps, waiters and bartenders in even uniforms, handmade dishes, expensive wine, rare alcohol and no smell of "masala".
Nevertheless, the restaurant is very cozy, and in the evening, when the lamps are lit, it turns into a great place for a romantic dinner with Indian spice.
Cuisine:
The chef of Chai'Ba was previously the chef of The Earth Cafe chain, which is the standard of high-quality vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
The Chai'Ba menu includes all the hits of southern and northern Indian cuisine: thali, curry, samosas, palak paneer and other ear-warming names of bright Indian dishes.
In addition to classic Indian dishes, you can also find European cuisine here - always in the author's version. Salad bowls – various hearty salads, for example, with quinoa, avocado, roasted peppers, feta and za'atar dressing, a large bowl of pumpkin salad with zucchini "pasta" and a salad with sweet potato and paneer.
By the way, they make their own paneer here and it is divine! Be sure to try Paneer Tikka – homemade cheese cooked in a mixture of Indian spices in a tandoor.
His Majesty Tandoor is visible from the doorway: the kitchen at Chai'Ba is open, but very skillfully made – you will not smell any unnecessary smells.
A variety of curries: from palak paneer with spinach to curry with chicken, eggplant, potatoes and okra.
Chicken is generally respected here: try chicken kebabs with green chutney or marinated in aromatic cardamom.
And, of course, BREAD! Crispy whole wheat roti, soft naan with cheese, potato paratha or light chapati – all from the tandoor.
Desserts are also not overlooked: the chef buys them from the best suppliers. Vegan chocolate cake, lemon cheesecakes and many other classic, but at the same time healthy sweets – your children will be happy.
Drinks:
To complement a classic Indian lunch or dinner, take a yogurt lassi (there is salty, sweet or with mango).
There are hearty smoothies, for example, the green The Hulk – a smoothie based on kale, spinach, nuts, avocado, banana, mint, cinnamon and coconut milk (it is quite suitable for lunch or breakfast).
Excellent black coffee.
A wide selection of cocktails and a rich wine list.
