Classic atmosphere of a European pub, bar-restaurant - dim lights, dark furniture, sports, rock music. Smoking only in the bar-restaurant, there is a separate non-smoking restaurant room and a terrace overlooking the street, also non-smoking; air-conditioners everywhere. In the bar there is a separate area for games - American billiards and electronic darts; every Monday the English hold competitions on darts, beginning at 20.00. TVs with sports channels, you can watch different competitions. Formula1 races are shown on the big screen, there is a schedule of shows in the bar. Every Wednesday at 21.00 Russian guy conducts a quiz in the spirit of “What Where When” (in English). Music - classic pop/rock tracks in a quiet arrangement play in the background. On Thursdays there is an acoustic band, beginning at 20.00. And on Friday at 21.00 local band “Crazy Hourse” plays, they play classic English rock, and very powerful! The restaurant where they cook the best meat in Sanur; proven by long-time expat Europeans! The cuisine is European, good, meaty, and very varied. On the menu you can find hearty German dishes, and French delights - snails and French pâté with cognac; dishes from imported fish. A few Indonesian dishes at a price of 25-40k. Decent selection of European desserts. Alcohol - not a bad choice of imported beer (Heineken, Carlsberg, Guinness), and the price is normal, but German original already 100-125k. What to try?
1. Pork knuckle/pork grilled knuckle - huge portion of pork knuckle +-2kg. for 2-3 people, with sauce, side dish not included. The dish must be ordered and paid for 24 hours in advance.
2. Steaks - a whole sheet on the menu, for every taste and tooth!
3. Goulash/goulash soup, a thick, spicy and very hearty soup based on a classic Austrian recipe.
4. Mohr im hemd, an Austrian dessert with an Arabic name meaning “Moor in a shirt”. Chocolate cupcake dipped in homemade chocolate sauce and decorated with whipped cream.
