A clean and inexpensive warung, located in one of the most peaceful neighborhoods in Changgu - Pererenan.
The place is quite decent - clean, comfortable, beautiful carved furniture, gurgling fountain, quality local food. At the entrance you can see a transparent counter with different local dishes - this is Nasi Champur.
Three kinds (vegetarian, with 4 or 5 different additives), first you choose rice - white, yellow, brown, then you can choose more than 20 different dishes, including vegetables, meat, fish, sauces. There are soups, including Tom Yam. The Balinese dish is sate lilit, the rest are Indonesian dishes, a few Thai dishes. The food is mostly not spicy or moderately spicy.
Drinks are standard - juices (you want natural flavor, ask for sugar free), tea/coffee, beer, a few types of cocktails. Prices are full. There is delivery within Chang.
What to try?
1. Laksa - hearty and not spicy noodle soup with chicken and vegetables
2. Pepes Ikan Tuna - tuna fillet cooked in banana leaf, with rice, vegetable salad, roasted peanuts and sambal sauce.
3. Sate lilit - Balinese kebab, with vegetable salad and roasted peanuts
