A megapopular warung of traditional Indonesian cuisine in Kuta.
Honestly, the first time I saw a queue in warung! At lunchtime the tables are all full, although there are 2 large halls, smoking, by the way, you can smoke everywhere. A lot of locals come, Europeans less, but also enough. In the middle of the hall is a glass counter with different local stuff, a lot of meat, fish, fried, but vegetables are not very much, or have already eaten them, the crowd was a lot:)) They specialize in Javanese cuisine (from the neighboring island of Java).
Everything as usual, rice (only white, no choice), the rest you choose “behind the glass”, count, give a card with the price, eat and then pay. There is no menu as such, everything by eye:) The price depends on what and how much you get, on average vegi 23-25k, with meat and shrimp from 30k. Juices are ordered additionally, chosen by the availability of fresh fruit, there is a separate counter, the average price is 12-15k. The cashier spoke excellent English, I was surprised!
On the downside: no wi-fi, a lot of people at lunch, no names of dishes and prices anywhere, you have to clarify. For the first acquaintance with the local cuisine is a bit difficult, a lot of incomprehensible, so act on the principle of choosing Indonesian cuisine, if you do not know what it is - choose what pleases the eye:)))))
