The place is a real find for those who want to save a bit on food, but still have a tasty and hearty meal. It is a small (just a few tables), but quite nice and hearty warung, which belongs to a Muslim elderly couple. The cooking is homemade and delicious.
The dishes on the menu are very simple, no frills. There is local food as well as European food such as burgers, pizza and pasta. You should not expect to be cooked pasta with seafood or pizza with buratta cheese. But everything is really tasty and of surprisingly good quality. For example, the same pasta is made with olive oil, good cream and real parmesan.
The owner of the cafe works part-time as a chef in the hotel, so even the presentation of dishes here is quite beautiful, which is not often seen in the local warung. Separately I would like to mention the desserts. They are not on the menu, and they are not always available. But if you see a cake or cupcake in the drinks fridge, feel free to order it! I've tried the chocolate mousse cake, the brownie, and the banana-vanilla cupcake - all insanely delicious.
Bottom line, if you need somewhere very budget-friendly and delicious to eat in Bukit, I heartily recommend this warung. Tested personally and repeatedly. This is the case when the price is much lower than the quality.
The big disadvantage of the cafe is that they do not work according to a strict schedule. Sometimes they can be closed for unknown reasons. But by practical way it was determined that the best time to visit Monday-Saturday from 12:00-18:00, at this time in 98% of cases the cafe is open.
What to try?
Any pasta to your taste - you will be pleasantly surprised that for such a small amount of money you will get a very tasty pasta.
Desserts - if you see any desserts in the fridge (just they are not on the menu, they are not always there), take them without thinking. Very tasty
Fish Chips - very tender and tasty fish. The portion is small, it is better to take something else to it. But the fish is really tasty
Chicken Steak - well-cooked chicken breast with vegetables, you can also take rice.
