Atmospheric warung with beautiful views.
Pros:
- The place is less hyped than neighboring sister warungs Sari Organic (too shabby already) and Karsa Kafe (poor service and average food), and I remembered it the most
- you can take a leisurely stroll from the center of Ubud along the footpath enjoying the beautiful views; follow the signs on the path, they are there; the road changes to a narrow path, be careful, in the evening you need lighting. It's not comfortable on a bike, better to leave it on the road, there's room there
- The menu is small and Indonesian, fresh juices and smoothies, not bad coffee (even Vietnamese is available). Food in general is tasty, cooked better than in neighboring warungs. Local desserts. Breakfasts until 12, there are packaged including a dish and tea/coffee
- There are tables with poufs, from where you can watch the sunset, and just lie down with a bottle of Bintang.
- free wi-fi
- clean; staff speak English
- massage
- Coconut masks can be bought for 50k, they are made of coconut nibbled by squirrels. This way you will please yourself or your friends and help the locals in preserving and maintaining the walking trail.
- You can take different workshops: Balinese painting, fruit carving, wood carving. Any MK 350k for 3 hours.
Cons:
- dachshunds 10%
- in the evening, the coolest places are taken.
What to try?
1. Sweet orange taster platter - assorted Balinese appetizers (4 kinds) with signature sauce. 25k per person!
2. Nasi Goreng - fried rice with chicken, vegetables and egg. You can have it without chicken.
3. Tuna Curry - Balinese curry with tuna and rice
4. Sweet orange lumpia - sweet spring rolls with banana and cheese with warm coconut milk
