An inexpensive family warung with a varied menu.
Pros:
- wide choice on the menu: indo cuisine, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and European cuisines; lots of soups. It is better to order Thai or Asian dishes, in warungs they can't make European dishes tasty(
- budget complex breakfasts for 40-45k, including main course, small fruit salad, tea/coffee.
- dishes are served in glassware (yay! Not plastic)
- private paid parking lot next to the warung
- location near the center, on a quiet street without the hustle and bustle and tourists
- The hostess (the same Mama after whom the warung is named) conducts culinary master classes on cooking local dishes. You can check with the warung for details.
- prices are full, no tuk tuks
Cons:
- the warung is a bit shabby, uncomfortable and not very clean
- no air conditioning, very hot on the second floor
What to try?
