A cafe with a view of the jungle and a waterfall....for dessert!
Located next to the Goa Gajah cave, one of the most adequate cafes in terms of price = quality in this popular tourist area. Few people during the day, more in the evening and quite romantic. The view is cool, the atmosphere is peaceful, beautiful and lots of greenery. Opened in the fall of 17, clean, fresh furniture. The most popular tables with the best view of the waterfall are separate gazebos. The staff is friendly. Prices are low, even taking into account the 12% tax (added to the bill).
The cuisine is generally ordinary, Indonesian, but well prepared. The main set of Indonesian and European dishes on the menu.
What to try?
1. Layana salad - classic vegetable salad, mayonnaise dressing. Asked to replace with olive oil, they did.
2. Ikan Mujair - whole river fish (tilapia), there were 2 pieces in a serving, they can be steamed, grilled or fried as per your choice. In addition, rice, vegetables and sambal sauce-seasoning. Steamed fish is served only with rice. The fish is bony and there is little meat, if you are very hungry you will not be full.
3. For vegetarians, Cap Cay - stewed vegetables in soy sauce + rice.
4. I really liked the Mango basil smash fresh juice with pieces of mango, fresh basil and honey. A cool combination!
