Europeanized cafe with a beautiful view of the rice fields.
Place.
Conveniently located on the road to the Tanah Lot temple and 5 minutes from the black sand beach of Munggu. One of the few places in this area where you can eat normal European food, around, local warungs with local cuisine. The interior of the establishment and the menu are identical to the Nook and Milu cafes, one owner. A little "shabby", they have been working for 3 years, an upgrade would not hurt. Pleasant view of the rice terraces. English-speaking staff. Own free parking. There is no air conditioning, a pleasant breeze blows from the fields and the ocean, although it can be stuffy (it is better to sit closer to the fields!). Romantic in the evening!
Menu.
A varied menu - from Nasi Champur to pizza / pasta, fish and steaks. There are vegetarian dishes. A good choice of breakfasts all day. They cook deliciously. Taxes are 15%.
What to try?
1. For breakfast, a light and nutritious Healthy Green smoothie bowl or a hearty Full English breakfast.
2. Local dishes - Balinese curry with shrimps Udang Bambu Bali or beef stewed in coconut milk Beef Rendang. Nasi Campur is the most popular dish, a good portion at a reasonable price, there is a vegetarian option.
3. European - Seafood pizza (pizza is made in a wood-fired oven), you can't say that the pizza is original like in Italy, but it turns out well. Pork ribs are not bad, fish fillet snapper or mahi mahi.
4. Desserts. Local - black rice pudding with coconut milk (can be eaten instead of porridge for breakfast) and Balinese pancakes with a filling of grated coconut and palm sugar Dadar gulung.
