A popular and inexpensive warung, located in one of Sanur's quiet confused lanes.
The “little brother” of the Lilla warung, which is located on Sanur beach. Here clean and comfortable, friendly staff, there is more choice on the menu and the prices are the same, but include taxas (in the beach Lilla taxas +15%). Modern design with retro elements - old photos of the island capture the spirit of that very “old Bali”. There is no air conditioning, it blows out fine.
Indonesian and European dishes are on the menu. The cuisine is qualitative and tasty, cooked without glutamate, meat, fish, vegetables are washed in mineral water (not from the tap), a lot of fish dishes, and there is an opportunity to choose baked or steamed fish. A small selection of breakfasts from 8-11. Indonesian lunch buffet Nasi champur from 11-15. Spicy dishes are labeled “pepper” on the menu, the more the hotter.
What to try?
1. Lalapan is a traditional Indonesian dish and here it is a specialty, cooked well. Lalapan is a heavily fried meat/fish served with sambal sauce, braised water spinach and white rice. You can choose from meat, fish or seafood.
2- Fish ginger is a whole snapper steamed with ginger sauce, with young potatoes and vegetables. If you're tired of fried food or prefer a healthy meal, highly recommended!
3. Lilla cordon bleu - specialty, cordon bleu of snapper fillet with cheese, the cutlet is made by themselves, served with shrimp sauce, fries and green salad.
4. Pisang Rai - I recommend trying this traditional Balinese dessert. It is a healthier version of fried bananas/Pisang Goreng, the Balinese steam or boil this dessert and serve it with coconut shavings and brown sugar syrup.
