A cafe popular with locals, specializing in Indonesian and Chinese cuisine.
Located just behind KFC and Pepito if you go towards the university. The atmosphere is simple, democratic, three open rooms under the roofs, with fans. It looks like a local canteen, there are a lot of Asians at lunchtime, I had a whole police station for lunch)) You can smoke.
The menu is big, a lot of different meat, fish, sifud, not a bad choice of squid - not often found in cafes, vegetable dishes for vegetarians; Chinese cuisine. Portion size to choose from - small or large.
Authentic cuisine of Jakarta's indigenous people can be tasted here, it is presented separately in the menu. Betawi or Batavia (another name) - this is the name of indigenous settlers of Jakarta, their cuisine has its own differences, in many dishes you can feel Chinese and Malaysian influence. Bright representatives of this cuisine are Soto Betawi (meat soup with coconut milk), Nasi Uduk (rice with coconut milk), vegetable salad Ketoprak, even Gado Gado salad has its own differences. Very cool that you can try this kind of cuisine here without traveling to Jakarta. Prices are higher than warung, taxis are included. They don't bring the bill, pay the cashier.
For dessert - ice cream with different flavors, like local fruit sherbet, for only 7k. I liked the avocado. It's sold at the register.
No wifi.
