An Indonesian cuisine warung where you can have a quick and budget meal.
Quite decent and clean warung, visitors are Australians and Europeans, there are almost no locals. It is crowded at lunch and in the evening. Food is only Indonesian. They work on the principle of Nasi Champur - you choose rice (3 kinds - white, yellow, brown), and different dishes from the counter-transparent showcase. The selection is good, lots of vegetable dishes, tepme (fermented soybeans), different dishes with chicken. There is Nasi goreng, you won't see it on the counter, you have to order it, they cook it, vegetarian or with chicken. The only inconvenient, there are no names of dishes and cost, for beginners it is more difficult to choose, you have to clarify, the staff is not all, but speaks English, ask. Drinks - fruit juices, coconut. You have chosen, you pay at once.
There is no wi-fi.
What to try?
1. Tempe Manis - soy beans in sweet sauce.
2. Perkedel - corn patties.
3. Beef rendang - beef stewed in coconut milk and spices - 10k for one piece.
