A popular local warung where you can taste the cuisine of Is. Sulawesi, which is different in flavor from Javanese and Balinese cuisine.
The pros of this warung are:
1. Located in a quiet alley, 2 meters away from the main street. Spacious, lots of tables. Own garden!
2. Clean and tidy, they keep an eye on it.
3. Great choice of different dishes, a lot of vegetable (vegetarian), fish and seafood. They work on the principle of Nasi Champur, you choose from the counter, rice to choose 3 kinds. First you eat, then pay, ask for a card with the price to understand how much you have eaten:)
The cuisine is quite spicy, even if the staff tells you no spicy (for them maybe not spicy), it does not mean that it will be)))) Take vegetable dishes, they are usually bland, will help with the pepper.
4. use ceramic utensils, not plastic.
5. A separate counter with local desserts, you can try traditional sweets - “candy” Klepon (green circles sprinkled with coconut shavings), pancakes Dadar filled with brown sugar and coconut (pink pancakes, and not desi they are very tasty!), a dessert of sticky rice with pieces of banana wrapped in a banana leaf Nagasari, and a few more interesting desserts.
6. The staff spoke in English!
7. Wifi is available.
8. Decent number of locals who come for lunch, which proves that Warung is a decent place. I even saw a company in formal uniform, they said they were from the local government and come here all the time. At lunchtime it is quite crowded, but you can find a free table. Tourists also come in and eat with appetite).
9. Delicious and inexpensive! Qualitatively prepared food, adequate price.
10. You can take out.
Minus only one - no names of dishes and prices:(
What to try?
1. Palumara - traditional fish soup of Sumatra island
2. Ayam ayam rica rica - chicken fried in spicy spices. 3.
3. Woku - fish stewed in sauce, not very spicy dish
4. Cumi - squid stewed in spicy sauce
