A popular and civilized warung in Kuta, close to the food court.
Warung Malang is a spacious, clean cafe with a good selection on the menu. Warung is conventionally divided into 2 parts - Indonesian and Chinese kitchens, where different popular local dishes are prepared, including fresh seafood and European, where Australian steaks are offered.
You can choose a table in any part you like. In the evening on a special counter put seafood, you can choose, they weigh and count the cost, prices are different, depending on what you choose, but in general the price is cheaper than many restaurants in Kuta. I advise you to order and try local or Chinese food, for steaks you should go to Australians, there are several places in Kuta where they cook them perfectly and the owners are Australians.
They cook decently, portions are good, prices are cheap, there is no tax.
What to try?
1. Tom Yum soup - it's not cheap here, but everyone praises it and deservedly so, try it!
2. Bebek Bakar/bebek goreng - duck cooked in the traditional way. Bebek bakar - duck is grilled, bebek goreng, duck is pan fried, served with spicy sambal sauce.
3. Nasi goreng Warung Malang - specialty fried rice, with vegetables, meat and shrimp.
