Indonesian airline TransNusa has started flying non-stop from Bali to Melbourne.

The first flight out of Ngurah Rai Airport carried 139 passengers, and the return flight carried 86.
Flight 8B018 departed on 19 October at 20:33, and 8B019 from Melbourne landed in Bali the following morning at 10:10.
According to the schedule, the plane leaves Denpasar at 20:45 and arrives in Melbourne at 05:40 local time. On the return leg, it departs at 06:25 and lands in Bali at 09:40. The flight takes about six hours, and the time difference with Melbourne is currently three hours. For now, the flights do not operate every day, but they will become daily from 15 November.
A one-way ticket at the introductory fare starts at 3.4 million rupiah (about $190) and includes 20 kilograms of baggage.
Each aircraft has 20 seats in Premium Plus, a new class for TransNusa that comes with a larger baggage allowance and priority service. These tickets start at 9.1 million rupiah (about $500).
From Denpasar, TransNusa also flies to Perth, Singapore, Guangzhou and Phuket.
From January to September, about 1.3 million Australians visited Bali, a quarter of all foreign tourists.
In June, AirAsia suspended its flights from Denpasar to Melbourne because of rising jet fuel prices.
