Ngurah Rai Airport now has two more destinations in Australia. In March, Jetstar launched flights between Bali and Avalon, and between Bali and the Sunshine Coast. Australia remains the number-one source of inbound tourist arrivals to the island.

Avalon is not a new route but a return of the service. It now operates five times a week on an Airbus A321LR.
The Sunshine Coast–Denpasar route is new for Bali. It will operate three times a week. The service is linked with a flight to Singapore, so some passengers will be able to continue their journey on a single itinerary via Denpasar.
At the start of sales, tickets from Avalon to Bali were priced from AUD 195 (about USD 136) one way, and from the Sunshine Coast from AUD 209 (around USD 145). For a low-cost carrier, this is the basic fare with no checked baggage included.
The island now has 11 direct routes to Australia. In addition to the new Avalon and Sunshine Coast services, there are Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Gold Coast, Darwin, Cairns and Newcastle. In January and February 2026, 240,897 tourists from Australia visited Bali, and in 2025 the total was about 1.6 million.
