The airline Jetstar is expanding its international network with the Gold Coast (Australia) to Denpasar routes, beginning on 1st August 2025. Tickets are already on sale.
Flight JQ93 will depart from Gold Coast at 18:15 and arrive in Denpasar at 22:35 local time on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The return flight JQ94 will leave Denpasar at 23:45, arriving back at Gold Coast Airport at 7:15 in the morning local time the next day, on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
With this new service, Jetstar will become the first low-cost carrier to offer direct flights on this route. Additionally, the airline maintains the status of the largest carrier in this region of Australia.
Bali has always been Jetstar's most popular international destination, and it's easy to see why: beautiful beaches and resorts, delicious food, friendly locals, and its close proximity to Australia.
The three weekly flights will increase the passenger flow to this destination by 58,000 people annually. The airline will use two new planes in its fleet to operate the flights — the Airbus A320neo.
Amelia Evans, CEO of Queensland Airports Limited, stated: "Bali is the most frequent holiday choice for residents of the Gold Coast and surrounding areas. Over the past two years, more than 130,000 passengers have traveled between these two destinations."
