The traffic police at Ngurah Rai Airport, in collaboration with state company Angkasa Pura I, which manages the airport, conducted a crackdown on illegal motorcycle parking around the parking building.
Improperly parked bikes narrow the roadway and disrupt traffic. Patrols checked the area, removed vehicles that violated the rules, and had explanatory talks with drivers.
According to airport police representative Ipda I Gede Suka Artana, the operation is part of regular measures to maintain order and safety at Bali's main gateway.
For now, violators are not fined, only given warnings and asked to park their motorcycles in official parking lots. However, Artana emphasized that repeated violations may result in fines.
"We hope airport visitors will follow the rules. Parking order is a shared responsibility," he noted.
