The relatively new Lumeira spa complex has been winning the hearts of tourists and expats from the very beginning, frequently appearing in must-visit lists. Despite there being a vast number of spa centers and bathing complexes in Bali, the creators of this place seem to have managed to surprise the discerning island crowd. So why should you go there, what time to choose, which treatments to consider, and what should you keep in mind to ensure a pleasant experience?

General Information
Lumeira is a social wellness complex and restaurant. Guests have access to a wood-fired sauna, the largest domed hammam in the world accommodating 20 people, cold plunge pools, jacuzzis, a hot pot with petals, a swimming pool, and a wide range of care and health treatments, from massages and scrubs to venik steaming.
The complex is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. Treatments can be booked from 10 AM to 9 PM. The last food order in the restaurant is at 9:30 PM.
For those seeking peace and quiet, it is recommended to visit during the day, as the atmosphere becomes livelier in the afternoon.

Among the daytime visit advantages is the opportunity to explore the beautiful scenery surrounding the complex and sunbathe on the loungers included in the entrance ticket price. To more likely find a free one, it's best to come before 11 AM.
In the evening, the atmosphere within the spa complex is equally pleasant. Subtle multicolored lighting creates a cozy and magical ambiance, enhanced by the songs of cicadas and the sound of logs crackling in the fire.

You can purchase a wellness pass (access to the aqua-thermal wellness center) on-site. The price includes a sarong and a towel. A deposit is required for an electronic locker key (bike key, license, passport, or 100,000 rupiahs). Shower caps are not available for free, but they are sold at the entrance, where you can also buy oak sauna whisk for self-steaming.

For treatments such as massages, facials, or steamings, prior booking is required.
Saunas
The Lumeira creators designed and built the world's largest wood-heated domed hammam, capable of holding groups of up to 15-20 people. Besides being a fantastic place for warming up and cleansing, it's also an ideal space for sound healing. The dome’s architecture enhances acoustics, allowing vibrations to penetrate deeply, relaxing muscles and the mind.

To maximize your dome visit experience, you can book a steaming ceremony. Lumeira's menu includes both group steam ceremonies and individual ones suitable for both beginners and seasoned sauna enthusiasts. Experienced masters use herbal infusions and invigorating birch veniks to enhance circulation, eliminate toxins from the body, and rejuvenate the skin.
An interesting distinction of this bathing complex, compared to many others in Bali, is that steaming is conducted by Indonesians rather than Russian-speaking masters.

In addition to the hammam, there is also a wood-fired dry sauna on-site.
Pools
The main scenic infinity pool at Lumeira spans 65 square meters. It is surrounded by jungles on one side and has access to a bar and loungers on the other.

The site also features two wellness pools with cold water, accommodating up to 6 people at a time.
For those who dislike sudden temperature changes, there is a jacuzzi with warm water, designed for up to 8 people.

However, the hot pot is more popular among those who enjoy hot water. Its temperature is maintained by a fire located directly under the container.
Restaurant
The bar-restaurant is located outdoors, with seating under a canopy or in an amphitheater by a bonfire lit after sunset.

The menu is diverse, featuring the best dishes from world cuisine. You can find Slavic dishes like dumplings, vareniki, and borscht, or order a Madrid breakfast, lobster pie, or kebab.
Prices for breakfasts range from 55,000 to 75,000 rupiahs per dish. Pizza ranges from 85,000 to 130,000 rupiahs. In the main menu, vegetarian dishes start from 85,000 rupiahs, and meat dishes go up to 300,000. All prices are listed without taxes and surcharges, so add 21% to everything.
Events
Lumeira has a rich program of events, which is easiest to follow on Instagram.
About twice a month, they host Steam Social bath parties, which include group steamings, live music, sound healing, and DJ sets. The event starts at 3 PM and ends at 11 PM. Prices start from 463,500* rupiahs if purchased in advance. Ticket prices rise to 618,000* rupiahs before the event begins. Special offers are available for couples and groups.
*Excluding taxes.

Subscription Prices
To understand what the Lumeira spa complex offers, it can be divided into two main areas: an aqua-thermal wellness center with saunas, plunge pools, and a swimming pool; and rooms for treatments (massages, scrubs, etc.).

A ticket for the so-called wet area with saunas and pools is valid all day. It costs 350,000* rupiahs for adults and 250,000* rupiahs for children under 9 years old.

Spa Treatments
Lumeira offers a wide range of body and facial care treatments, featuring 8 types of massages, from classic Balinese to Hawaiian lomi-lomi.
The signature massage deserves special mention, during which therapists intuitively select techniques tailored to the needs of each client. In an hour or an hour and a half, they work not only on the body but also manage to perform a sculptural facial and scalp massage. The experience is enhanced by warm coconut oil scented with ylang-ylang, nutmeg, ginger, patchouli, and orange, sourced from the Indonesian archipelago.
Each massage comes with complimentary sound immersion therapy using the latest sound technology.
Furthermore, the treatment menu includes steamings. In the domed hammam, local bath attendants put on a real steam show. Fans distribute the heat before moving on to work with veniks, either oak or eucalyptus. Hot compresses, carefully applied to shiatsu points, are a mandatory part of the program, opening energy pathways, relieving tension, and promoting deep relaxation. The climax of the procedure is pouring cold water from a bucket and plunging into an ice pool.
Steamings are divided into several levels, depending on the guests’ requests. For instance, there's a 20-minute session for a light introduction to the procedure and a one-hour reboot involving two specialists.

It’s hard to imagine a bath without scrubbing, so at Lumeira, you have the opportunity to nourish your skin with honey-sugar mixes or coffee scrubs. There’s even volcanic black mud, deeply cleansing the skin and giving it a radiant glow.
But that's not all. Lumeira's menu includes rejuvenating facial treatments, care sessions based on natural ingredients, and package offers. You can explore them all here, but keep in mind that final prices are not always listed. To some options, you need to add an additional 21%.
