Previously, the immigration service received a “red notice,” an official request from Chinese police for assistance in locating the suspect. LQ is accused of causing damage equivalent to 210 trillion Indonesian rupiah, affecting 50,000 victims.
He attempted to leave Indonesia on Singapore Airlines flight SQ094 to Singapore but was apprehended at the auto-gate thanks to the facial recognition system. LQ was placed in immigration detention and later handed over to the police. He is now held in pre-trial detention while authorities investigate to decide on further legal action against him.
