International traffic increased due to high 'air connectivity' and the launch of new routes: in 2025, 13 international routes were introduced, including Bali's first flights to Newcastle (Australia), Cheongju (South Korea), Saigon (Vietnam), and Sichuan (China).
The busiest route remained Jakarta, with 4.23 million passengers. Among international routes, Singapore (2.69 million) and Kuala Lumpur (1.76 million) were leaders. Surabaya (1.31 million) and Melbourne (1.15 million) were also in the top.
July was the peak month, with 2.3 million passengers (on average, 76,005 per day). The airport attributes this to summer holidays and school breaks. On average, the airport handled around 2 million passengers per month — approximately 66,000 per day (arrivals and departures).
According to the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, between January and December 2025, 7.1 million foreigners entered Bali through Ngurah Rai. Most of them were from Australia (1.67 million, 23%), followed by India (around 584,000) and China (560,000).
