A good cafe with tasty food and nice price, located right opposite the food court in Kuta.
This place is a good alternative to the cheap and not always high quality warungs at the food court. It's quiet and civilized, nice atmosphere, and quality food. The Japanese owner created this place a few years ago with the idea of making a cafe with home cooked food, so that it would be good and tasty like home. They cook everything themselves, including their famous mashed potatoes (made with cream and a secret sauce) and cordon bleu cutlets (a chicken cutlet filled with ham and cheese).
The menu is large - the selection is great, varied, and all are deliciously prepared. Here you can choose a side dish to all the main courses: white rice, fries, mashed potatoes (I vote for mashed potatoes!). Also, for those who lack bread in Bali, they bake their own Italian flatbread focaccia.
Good selection of salads, soups, mostly puree soups, but lots of different noodles can be found on the Indonesian menu. You can try to make soup in Japanese Nabe style, they bring a special pot, a portable stove, and a large set of products to the table, you and koshevarite, usually the Chinese do this, and the Japanese have such entertainment too:) Noodles or rice are not included, order additionally, soup is designed for 2-3 people. There are complex breakfasts from 9 to 13, include tea/coffee to choose from. From alcohol I advise to try local moonshine - arak, and very decent Sangria, inexpensive price for a glass, and you can take a jug of 1.5 liters for several people, then it is more profitable.
Very nice staff, service is good. Prices are full, there is no tax. The wi-fi is fine:)
What to try?
1. Chicken cordon bleu - chicken cutlet, served with mushroom sauce, vegetables, and garnish of choice.
2. Spicy balinese seafood - sifuda mix cooked with balinese spices and vegetables (medium spicy dish), served with white rice.
3. Pasta shrimp&broccoli - pasta with shrimp, broccoli, in cream sauce.
4. Calzone - closed pizza filled with pesto sauce with mushrooms, fish, olives and mozzarella.
5. Doria Bolognaise - casserole made of yellow rice, bolognese sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
