Inside, it's comfortable, cool and air-conditioned. Kopi Bali is a famous brand of Balinese coffee, founded in 1935. The restaurant, of course opened later, but the place has history. The walls are decorated with coffee paintings, an unusual and interesting technique. There is its own factory on the island, where you can go on a tour, now there are master classes and show how coffee is born, what stages it goes through, interesting! Here, too, sell different types of coffee and devices for its preparation (coffee grinders, coffee makers, utensils). And here you can also try the famous (wild) Luwak coffee - interesting presentation in a special coffee pot, its volume is enough for 2 cups, the price is 200k per kettle. Taxes of 21% are added to all prices.
The cuisine is European and quality Indonesian and Asian specialties. The menu is huge and with photos of the dishes, half of the menu is taken up by coffee based drinks - it's a paradise for coffee lovers, the specialty drink here is cold mochaccino!
What to try?
1. Sop Buntut - there are many soups on the menu, both familiar European ones and exotic Asian ones. Soup Buntut - the most unusual among its hot brethren, it is a traditional Indonesian soup made of oxtails. If you dare to try it, do it here, cooked according to all classical canons of local cuisine on broth from those very tails. The taste is quite hearty meat soup, not spicy, nothing frightening and unpleasant) Try it! The soup is traditionally served with rice, crackers with sambal sauce, fresh lime, its refreshing juice gives the soup interesting shades.
2. Chicken Gordon Bleu - a specialty, Chicken Gordon Bleu cutlet with ham and cheese is made by themselves. It is served with boiled potatoes, vegetables and cream sauce.
