A two-level high-end Asian restaurant on a busy street in Seminyak
Atmosphere:
Jackson Lily’s is a project by chef Dean Keddel, who has been successfully heading the kitchen at Ginger Moon in Seminyak for 6 years.
The restaurant is hard to miss – the impressive glass cube stands out among the low-rise neighboring buildings, while blending in very organically with the surrounding landscape.
Inside, despite its size, it is very cozy: lots of light, which is kindly let in by huge windows, light wooden tables, soft turquoise sofas, a huge bar counter and an open kitchen.
In the afternoon, the second floor opens up, offering a beautiful view of the sunset, and in the evening, numerous lights are lit, and the space is filled with an almost festive clink of glasses and the diligent creaking of forks.
Cuisine:
Here is all the wealth of Asia. Inspired by his many trips around the Asian region, Dean has created a unique menu, which, once tasted, will take you all over Southeast Asia and India without leaving Bali.
Here are crispy spring rolls with a juicy filling of corn and cabbage, Indian vegetable pakora (a mix of vegetables fried in chickpea batter) with mango chutney, gado-gado fusion with watermelon, feta and quinoa, and even a unique Asian Caesar salad with a poached egg and crispy chicken wontons.
They haven't ignored Italian fusion either: the menu includes pizza (choose by length: ¼, ½ or a whole meter), ranging from vegetarian with falafel to Jimbaran pizza with spinach, shrimp and other local seafood.
An impressive selection of noodle dishes: mi goreng with vegetables, yellow noodles with duck, laksa with pumpkin, tofu and nuts. For curry lovers, there are meat (with meatballs and orange sauce), vegetarian (with eggplant and pineapple) and fish.
Drinks:
Unusual signature cocktails - we recommend trying the refreshing Hot in Seminyak with passion fruit - strong, bright, a little sweet and very tasty.
For girls - refreshing spritzers based on wine with fruits.
A large selection of non-alcoholic cocktails and juices.
