A gourmet restaurant of Italian cuisine.
Beautiful and comfortable space - natural materials and cute details, romantic atmosphere and pleasant music, grocery store and wine "cellar" of selected imported wines. An ideal place for leisurely breakfasts (up to 12 o'clock), hearty lunches and romantic dinners.
Home cuisine with attention to the quality of ingredients and preparation. There are no expressive combinations here, their peculiarity is in the simplicity of the dish and elegant serving, the quality of each ingredient and the balance of taste. Organic vegetables, fresh greens and herbs are grown in our own garden in an ecologically clean area of the island + artisan production of the main Italian ingredients - ham/sausages, cheeses (soft cheeses are produced on the island, hard cheeses are imported from Italy), bread and pastries, sauces and pasta (there is also gluten free). By the way, here you can see how artisanal Italian pasta is created. With pasta, a glass of signature Isola wine, made from Italian grapes grown in Bali. Choose from white, rose, or red. The Rose is excellent.
If you are planning a family lunch or a home-cooked dinner with friends, stop by the shop for Italian delicacies: ham/sausage/cheeses, fresh pasta and sauces, freshly baked bread, fruit jams (the best are apple and mint) and a bottle of wine.
What to try?
1. Homemade pasta. Choose any pasta and sauce, the price of the dish depends on the sauce. Advice: if there are Italians nearby, do not hesitate to ask what type of pasta goes best with what sauce, it's a whole science! They will be pleased, and you are guaranteed to have a tasty one)
Trusted options (on the advice of Italians):
Tagliatelle pasta with Pomidoro e stracciatella sauce (sauce made from tomatoes, basil and Stracciatella cheese)
Gnocchi pasta with Basilico Pesto sauce (Gnocchi pasta with classic Italian Pesto sauce)
Gluten free pasta made from buckwheat flour with Bolognese di anatra tomato sauce made from duck mince, olive oil and Parmesan cheese.
2. Desserts:
Sorbetto al limone is an ideal dessert, especially on a hot Balinese day, and when you want something sweet, but light. Refreshing lemon sorbet and spectacular presentation.
Tiramisu is a classic Italian Tiramisu. That says it all! The savoyardi cookies for dessert are also made by hand, not store-bought)
