Bibimbap / bibimbap is the most famous Korean dish, besides kimchi, although kimchi is essentially an appetizer, and bibimbap is a full-fledged dish. The restaurant is named after it.
This is a traditional dish of boiled rice, various vegetables, Korean paste or sauce, raw egg and thinly sliced meat. The dish is served in a deep bowl, the ingredients are laid out separately and mixed immediately before consumption. A certain style of serving the dish - vegetables are laid out on boiled rice, arranged according to color, the colors should complement each other and create a composition that stimulates appetite, the egg is placed in the center of the dish.
There are 3 types of this dish on the menu, the classic Bibimbap with beef or pork, vegetable Vegan bibimbap, and the most unusual Dolsot bibimbap in a special hot pot, in which a raw egg is fried in the process of mixing all the ingredients. A certain temperature of the pot keeps the dish hot, and the raw egg is cooked in a matter of minutes.
