Bali's sports event calendar for 2025–2026 has been enriched with three major races, each with its own unique features and goals—from a large international marathon to local initiatives aimed at promoting tourism and a healthy lifestyle.

KedokteRUN 2025
On September 14, 2025, Singaraja will host the unique city race KedokteRUN 2025, dedicated to the anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine at Ganesha University. The 7 km distance will run through the city's central streets, allowing participants to enjoy the local culture and atmosphere. The event will bring together students, teachers, alumni, and residents, highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle and physical activity. Registration is open, so to participate you just need to purchase a ticket on the website. Prizes are available for the best runners.

Maybank Marathon 2025
On August 24, 2025, Gianyar will host the annual Maybank Marathon—the first event in Indonesia to receive the prestigious World Athletics’ Elite Label Road Race status. This year, over 13,500 runners from 52 countries will participate. The course will pass through villages, rice paddies, and temples, making it both athletic and scenic.
Disciplines include a marathon (42.195 km), a half-marathon (21.097 km), a 10 km race, and special categories for wheelchair participants and children. The organizers emphasize sustainable development and eco-friendliness. The top runners will have a chance to qualify for the legendary Boston Marathon 2026 as part of the #BaliBeatsBoston program. Sanur Bali International Half Marathon 2026
In February 2026, another major marathon—the Sanur Bali International Half Marathon—will take place in Sanur's tourist area. The organizers, RajaLari.id in collaboration with Prama Hotel Sanur, aim to attract around 10,000 participants from various countries. The 22 km race will run along the Sanur coastline with ocean views. The authorities of Denpasar have supported the initiative, emphasizing that the event will not only be a sporting occasion but also a significant promotion of Sanur as a tourist destination, as well as a boost for the hospitality industry and local entrepreneurs.
