Nusa Dua Hosts Adhyaksa International Run 2025

The Peninsula Peninsula in Nusa Dua once again became the venue for a large-scale sporting event. The Adhyaksa International Run (AIR) 2025 was held here. The event was opened by Bali Governor Wayan Koster, who not only started the race but also personally completed the five-kilometer distance alongside Bali's Chief Prosecutor Ketut Sumedana.

The event gathered around 3,100 participants from Indonesia and other countries. This year, the race was held under the motto of not only promoting a healthy lifestyle but also popularizing social values such as justice, equality, and support for underprivileged communities.
This year, AIR-2025 offered participants three distances of 5, 10, and 21 km (half marathon). The organizers prepared not only a sports program but also various entertainments that filled the atmosphere with festivity. More than 150 performers from nearby villages were involved in the entertainment program, including gamelan musicians and dancers.
The event started with the mass start of the half marathon at 4:45 am, accompanied by the sounds of gamelan and the Kecak dance. Participants of the 10 km distance started at 5:15 am, and those of the 5 km distance half an hour later.

Each category had its own route that went through Nusa Dua and onto Ngurah Rai highway. The 5 km route took participants from the peninsula neck into Nusa Dua and back. The 10 km route included the area up to Circle K Mumbul. Half marathon runners covered the distance through the main gates of Nusa Dua and Benoa Square before returning to the finish.
The event venue — Peninsula Peninsula — has all the necessary facilities: a stage for 600 people, a helipad, and a natural attraction like Water Blow, popular among tourists. Previously, renowned sporting events such as the Bali International Night Run, BCA Run, and Run to Give were held here.
"We want to inspire the community to maintain their health through sports, while simultaneously enhancing Bali's image as an island that combines active recreation with care for nature and culture," said Nusa Dua General Manager I Made Agus Dwiatmika.
