A day of sports events ahead of the 2026 Asian Games will take place in Nusa Dua on 14 June. The Olympic Movement in Action programme will begin in the morning in the Bali Collection area. It is organised by the Indonesian National Olympic Committee. The event is not only aimed at athletes: schoolchildren, families, sports communities and general visitors are also invited.
Participants can expect sports zones, workshops, meetings with athletes and the chance to try different sports. The programme includes table tennis, breakdancing, skateboarding, archery, boxing, cricket, squash and padel. The organisers expect several hundred guests.
In the evening, the Asian Games Fun Run, a mass run ahead of the Asian Games in Japan, will take place at the same location. The start time is listed as 16:00. The run has been named the Sunset Fun Run. Participants are invited to run at sunset in one of Bali’s most recognisable tourist areas.
The Asian Games will be held in Japan from 19 September to 4 October 2026. Indonesia is one of the countries hosting promotional runs ahead of the tournament.
