Transit through Singapore and a free transit visa

Transit visa for 96 hours (4 days).
You are entitled to such a visa if you are flying through Singapore to a third country in transit. For example, Kuala Lumpur - Singapore - Bali. If you are flying Bali - Singapore - Bali, then this is not a transit.
If you arrive from any country in Singapore and return to it, you will not be issued a transit visa. In this case, you need to get an electronic visa.
Bali.Live recommends the agency LegalIndonesia to obtain a visa to Singapore. Processing time is from two working days. The cost of the service is from 1,900,000 rupees. The exact timing and cost depend on the applicant's citizenship.
A transit visa in Singapore is granted free of charge on arrival at the airport. Arrival and departure are calculated by the hour.
Please note that the final decision on the provision of the right to visa-free transit through Singapore remains at the discretion of the immigration officer at the border.
If you do not have to leave the airport transit area to re-register for a flight or re-check your luggage, then you do not need a visa. The main thing is to make sure that when checking in for a flight at the departure point, you are immediately issued boarding passes to and from Singapore, and that your luggage is checked through to the final destination of your trip.
To obtain it you need:

1. To arrive in Singapore by any mode of transportation;
2. To have an airline ticket to a third country (not the one you are entering from);
3. Don't forget your visa to the third country, if one is required;
4. A hotel reservation if you intend to stay overnight.
Also, to visit, you will need arrival card, which needs to be filled out 3 days before arrival.
It is advisable to print all of these documents - you will be asked to present them at the arrival desk.
Agencies also warn that in some cases a transit visa in Singapore may be denied. Most often, refusals are related to ticketing. For example, if you have a Bali - Singapore - Bali ticket, airlines will not board you on the flight, because this route is not a transit route (you leave and return). There may also be problems with a single ticket, even if the route is more complex,for example, Bali - Singapore - Kuala Lumpur - Bali (the same principle). It is better to play it safe and take a separate ticket from a third country back to the island.
Tickets can be either single or separate (different airlines and different purchases).
Singapore's Changi Airport will resume free bus tours for transit passengers from April 3d, 2023. Three bus tour routes will be available: around Changi,overview tour around Singapore center and cultural-historical tour (available from June 2023) and a walking tour around the Changi Airport.
