Kuta Nightlife Under Police Watch

Kuta police have launched surprise raids on nightclubs and bars to ensure compliance with the law and the safety of guests. Kuta Police Commissioner Agus Rivayanto Diputra, along with an operational team, inspected the club Helen’s Night Mart & Party Station Bali.

After the inspection, Diputra reminded management of the need to strictly implement safety regulations and emphasized that staff should not encourage excessive alcohol consumption. Club security personnel are instructed to thoroughly check visitors and prevent the entry of knives, firearms, and drugs. Special attention is given to the functionality of CCTV surveillance cameras and the readiness of staff to act according to standard operating procedures in case of incidents. Diputra added that in any brawl, security must immediately isolate the participants, record their details, and transfer them to the police station.
The reason for this 'signal' visit by the police to Helen’s Night Mart & Party Station was two recent brawl incidents, after which the club was even sealed off with yellow tape. The management of Helen’s welcomed the inspection and expressed their readiness to cooperate with the police. Club manager Arga Antara publicly thanked the law enforcement officers and promised to purchase additional cameras and train staff to act according to protocol.
Similar visits are expected for other entertainment venues in Kuta — their effectiveness will become evident over time. Nightclub owners are reminded that any security slip-up or tolerance for 'overindulgent' guests can not only result in negative headlines but also in temporary club closures.
