The Sanur Bali International Half Marathon 2026 will take place in Sanur on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The event includes three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon of 21.1 km. The starting location is marked near Mertasari Beach.
The route is described as coastal: according to the organizers, the start is at Mertasari, then the course goes through the Segara Ayu area, partly onto the Ngurah Rai Bypass, and returns to the Sanur promenade, before continuing along the coast again.
Organizers expect more than 5,000 participants, both locals and visitors. The start and finish area will open at 03:30, with the first participants setting off in the early morning: the half marathon starts at 04:45, the 10 km race at 05:15, and the 5 km race at 05:30.
Separate prize categories are available for the half marathon and 10 km: 'Open International' is open to both Indonesian and foreign citizens, while 'National' and 'National Master 40+' are only for locals.
The maximum time for the half marathon is 3 hours 45 minutes, for 10 km it's 2 hours, and for 5 km it's 1 hour 30 minutes. If participants do not finish within these times, the organizers may remove them from the race.
Traffic changes will occur in Sanur approximately from 04:00 to 08:30. Several roads will be affected: part of the Ngurah Rai Bypass and the Serangan area, so it's advisable to allow time for detours.
