The Bali branch of BMKG (Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency) summarized the seismic activity for 2025. A total of 547 earthquakes were recorded on the island, 10 of which were felt by people.

According to the agency, in 2025, the activity, much like the previous year, was mostly characterized by weak tremors with magnitudes below 3 and shallow epicenters of up to 60 km. There were 331 such events.
November 2025 saw the most earthquakes, totaling 115 events for the year. The strongest earthquake of the year had a magnitude of 5.4. It occurred on April 17, 2025, with the epicenter located approximately 303 km southeast of South Kuta (Badung). The tremors were also felt on Lombok and Sumbawa.

Looking broadly at Bali, West and East Nusa Tenggara (and parts of East Nusa Tenggara), the regional BMKG center counted 6,215 earthquakes for 2025, 67 of which were felt. Most in the region were also weak and shallow.
