In 2025, 6,948,754 foreign tourists directly visited Bali. This is 9.72% more than in 2024, according to the Bali Statistics Agency (BPS).
The agency noted a growth in sea entry: in 2025, 41,169 foreigners arrived through Bali's ports—a 65.88% increase from 2024 (24,819). Yet, it still represents a small portion of the overall arrivals, about 0.6% of all 'direct' arrivals. BPS attributes this spike to cruise traffic, mentioning that two major liners docked in Bali in December.
