Bali Airport Rolls Out Fully Automated Parking Payments!

Starting November 1, 2024, Ngurah Rai Airport will officially implement fully automated, cashless, and human-free payment systems for parking services. This upgrade is designed for the convenience of both motorbike and car owners, significantly speeding up the payment process. As a result, Ngurah Rai Airport is prepared for the expected increase in passenger traffic during the upcoming peak season, including Christmas and New Year holidays.
The airport management began working on this in 2023, with the system partially introduced and operating in a hybrid form since December 2023, allowing payment either by cash to an attendant or by card.
Parking rates were updated in September 2024, when full testing began at nine payment gates—three for domestic flights and six for international. Today, 90 percent of visitors use cashless payment methods.
As of October 31, 2024, the parking rates are as follows:
• Motorbike: IDR 5,000 for the first 12 hours, then IDR 3,000 per hour.
• Car: IDR 12,000 for the first hour, then IDR 6,000 per hour.
• Premium parking: IDR 40,000 for entry to the premium zone plus the standard rate.
• Lost ticket penalty: IDR 50,000 for motorbikes and IDR 100,000 for cars.
There is no free passenger drop-off area in the departure zone; entry to the airport requires payment in all cases.
To assist with the transition to the fully automated system, support staff will be stationed near the gates.
If you previously paid for airport parking with cash, be sure to prepare electronic cards and familiarize yourself with cashless payment methods.
Currently, Ngurah Rai Airport accepts these electronic cards: e-Money from Bank Mandiri, Brizzi from Bank BRI, Tap Cash from BNI, and Flazz from BCA. These can be purchased and topped up at bank offices and convenience stores or bought from airport staff upon entry or exit.
