Bali’s Top Christmas Shopping: Sales & Markets

During the holiday season in Bali, it's worth visiting the shopping centers: the big sales start here, along with concerts, shows, and activities for children for Christmas and New Year. Plus, it's a great option for spending time on a rainy day.

The main attraction is Beachwalk in Kuta, which is celebrating its 13th anniversary. Almost all stores are offering promotions and discounts, and visitors can enjoy family entertainment and raffles. December is the busiest month, with up to 50,000 visitors a day, so the organizers get the most out of the service to ensure shopping is comfortable rather than tiring.
The anniversary program, Shopping 13, is supported by BCA bank. According to their data, the volume of purchases in December has already increased by 30%, and the center is preparing for a new record. If you don't have a card with this bank yet, contact Legal Indonesia, they can assist with opening an account.
Festive activities at Beachwalk will last until early January, coinciding with the mall's birthday, Christmas, and New Year. Discounts during these days are not only at Beachwalk. Across Indonesia, there is a national campaign to develop shopping tourism. From December 19, the "Big Sale Indonesia 2025" campaign starts, including shopping centers and outlets across the country. In Bali, other top shopping spots include ICON Bali in Sanur, Mal Galeria Bali, and Living World in Denpasar.
A special atmosphere at Beachwalk is created by the project Pop Mart — Unbox Joy: Christmas Town. This is a Christmas village with huge installations, bright decorations, and interactive zones. You can walk through the "Garden of Joy", write a letter at the Pop Mart post station, listen to stories in the "Christmas Story" zone, and watch the sunset in the "Christmas Camp" on the third floor.

At the market, you can buy collectible Pop Mart figures, with new and exclusive series arriving every week, including some released especially for Bali. Guests can enjoy workshops, photo zones, gifts for social media posts, and other surprises.
Even without snow and minus temperatures outside, Bali retains the Christmas spirit — here it lives under the palm trees, by the ocean, and in the lights of the malls, turning shopping into part of the winter holiday.
