The largest shopping malls in Bali are embracing the holiday spirit, offering tourists a range of events and massive discounts during the Christmas and New Year season.
The Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association for Bali has launched a major promotional campaign, “Christmas and New Year Sale 2024,” aimed at attracting more tourists to the island’s stores.
“The Great Bali Sale” runs until January 11 and takes place in 11 of the island’s largest malls. Special seasonal events are hosted at Beachwalk Shopping Center, Discovery Mall Bali, Duta Plaza, Icon Bali, Level21 Mall, Living World Denpasar, Lippo Mall Kuta, Plaza Renon, Samasta, Seminyak Village, and Sidewalk Jimbaran.
This sale is a fantastic opportunity to grab goods at unbeatable prices, as well as take advantage of tax refund options on eligible products.
The campaign also features numerous contests and games with prizes like gold jewelry, free hotel stays for couples, motorcycles, and much more.
Sunarwulan explained: “Every week, there will be 80 winners among shoppers. Buyers can also instantly win prizes simply by making purchases using contactless credit card payments from any bank.”
The newly opened ICON Mall Bali, located in the heart of Sanur, has joined The Great Bali Sale with discounts of up to 70% on products.
ICON Mall Bali’s President, Heru Chandra Nasution, announced that visitors could win an iPhone 15 Pro Max every week in December. Currently, ICON Mall Bali attracts an average of 29,000 visitors daily and is the first mall in Bali to offer full beachfront access.
The mall hosts over 200 international and local brands, including Mango, Uniqlo, Sephora, and Krisna Oleh-Oleh Premium, Bali’s largest store for arts, crafts, and souvenirs.
The rainy season, which can sometimes disrupt outdoor plans, is the perfect time to explore one of the island’s diverse shopping centers. These malls are more than just shopping destinations—they are entertainment hubs featuring food courts, indoor theme parks, cinemas, and cultural amphitheaters where free traditional dance performances are held daily.
