Starting from June 1, 2025, Vietnam Airlines will launch a new direct route between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Denpasar (Bali, Indonesia).
Flights will operate four times a week on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. From July 2025, the frequency will increase to daily flights.
The route will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft, featuring 16 business class seats (2-2 configuration) and 168 economy class seats (3-3 configuration).
This will bring the total number of direct flights between Vietnam and Indonesia to 14 per week. Currently, VietJet Air operates flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Bali. The entry of a new airline on this route will provide travelers with more choices and better options.
As of March 2025, VietJet Air offered one-way tickets from Ho Chi Minh City to Bali starting at IDR 1,300,000. With the launch of Vietnam Airlines, ticket prices could become more competitive, flights more comfortable, and travel time more efficient.
Vietnam Airlines is Vietnam’s largest carrier, known for its rich history, premium service, and membership in the SkyTeam alliance. The airline continues to expand its network, connecting Asia, Europe, and Australia.
