From 2 May 2026, TransNusa will launch an additional flight between Bali and Singapore. The new flight, 8B 553, will depart from Ngurah Rai Airport at 10:20 and arrive at Changi Airport at 13:15. The return flight, 8B 554, will leave Singapore at 14:15 and land in Bali at 17:55. The airline will operate the route with an Airbus A320.
Tickets for this additional flight, as well as for the new extra Jakarta–Singapore service, are already on sale. The additional flight between Jakarta and Singapore starts earlier, on 17 April. After that, TransNusa will have three daily flights on the Jakarta–Singapore route.
TransNusa launched the Bali–Singapore route in November 2025. At the time, the airline introduced flights 8B 551 and 8B 552 on an Airbus A320: the departure from Bali was at 07:30, and the return flight from Singapore at 10:55.
At the same time, TransNusa updated its international baggage policy. The basic SEAT package now includes 20 kg of checked baggage and 7 kg of hand luggage. The FLEXI-PRO package includes 30 kg of baggage, seat selection, food and drinks, priority boarding, as well as the option to change your travel date without limits and request a refund.
TransNusa is an Indonesian airline based in Jakarta and Bali. The carrier operates domestic and international routes and positions itself not as a traditional low-cost airline, but as an airline offering a broader range of services for passengers.
TransNusa says it is expanding its schedule due to strong demand for flights between Indonesia and Singapore, and to give passengers more same-day travel options.
