The Dome Experience: A New Interactive Attraction in Bali

Bali is now home to a fascinating interactive experience: The Dome Experience by Labyrinth Collective. This massive dome, 21 meters in diameter, features an impressive 600-square-meter screen and an immersive sound system of 484 powerful speakers arranged in a 60-meter circular layout. At the center of the dome is a stage for performances, blending visuals, spatial sound effects, and live shows by dancers. Check out their Instagram for a glimpse of this truly remarkable attraction.
The Dome aims to bridge Bali’s cultural and natural landscapes, offering visitors a chance to connect more deeply with the island’s vibe and essence.
Labyrinth Collective, founded in 2021, is the innovative force behind this project. According to its founders:
“Labyrinth Collective is a pioneer in Indonesia’s immersive entertainment industry. We strive to create a vibrant and sustainable hub for artistic expression and holistic experiences. Our project represents a unique ecosystem that seamlessly integrates cutting-edge technology, digital art, architecture, and ecology. By creating a collaborative space for digital art and interactive experiences in Indonesia, we aim to establish a new economic model that prioritizes collective benefits over individual profit.”
The collective pledges 5% of its revenue toward local environmental and community projects until the project breaks even. Afterward, they plan to donate 50% of profits.
From Tuesday to Sunday, The Dome hosts a live performance titled Bhuwana Agung: Bali Mystic to Life from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Tickets start at IDR 240,000 per person and can be purchased online.
This groundbreaking show explores Balinese culture and spirituality, reimagining traditional Balinese performing arts for the global stage. It combines avant-garde and physical theater with advanced technology to offer a modern take on Bali’s rich heritage.
The performance incorporates elements of five iconic Balinese cultural arts:
• Kecak
• Gambuh
• Wayang Kulit (shadow puppetry)
• Topeng Telek (masked dance)
• Barong Landung
These traditional dances and theatrical forms blend puppetry, masked performances, and intricate storytelling.
432 Hz Sound Healing Therapy
Beyond its mystical performances, The Dome offers sound healing sessions, utilizing the frequency of 432 Hz. Labyrinth Collective explains that this natural resonance aligns with the harmonic frequencies of the universe, promoting balance and healing. Combined with advanced sound systems, this therapy immerses participants in a multisensory experience designed to align the mind, body, and spirit in a profound way.
These sessions take place every Wednesday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Tickets are available online for IDR 490,000 for tourists.
More to Come
The Dome is also planned to host concerts, dinners, conferences, and corporate events.
The Dome is located at Luna Beach Club within the new innovative village Nuanu, near Nyanyi Beach in Tabanan. Spanning 44 hectares, Nuanu is a “creative city” project designed to integrate art, culture, technology, and sustainability into a unified space. It features collaborative zones for artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural representatives.
This mystically futuristic dome promises to be a hub for art, culture, and innovation on the Island of the Gods.
