Bali Hosts 2025 AI Film Awards: Where Tech Meets Cinema

From November 7 to 9, the island of Bali will become the hub of the cinema of the future. The first international festival in Asia, AI Film Awards Bali 2025, will be held at the Swiss-Belresort Pecatu, bringing together artificial intelligence, cinema, and creative technologies.

For three days, guests will enjoy screenings of over 300 films from 70 countries, discussions with directors, masterclasses, and star-studded parties by the ocean.

The festival will be personally opened by Indonesia's Minister of Tourism, Vidyanti Putri Wardhana. Among the guests will be representatives of the region's largest tech companies, including the EMTEK Group, as well as media and AI production experts.

The AI Film Awards red carpet will feature leading Indonesian actors and actresses, directors, musicians, and influencers from around the world. Monty Tiwa, the head screenwriter at Amadeus and known for his work with major Asian studios, will participate from the filmmaking side. The author of Indonesia's iconic rom-coms will share his experience in integrating artificial intelligence into screenplay writing and directing.

Guests of the festival can look forward to a gala dinner with ministers and stars, live performances, and after-parties until dawn. Organizers promise an atmosphere akin to Cannes and Venice but with Balinese soul and warmth.

November 7 — Pre-Party at Uluwatu Beach Club: formal opening and networking.

November 8 — Main Day: AI film screenings, conferences, red carpet, awards ceremony, gala dinner, and after-party until 3 a.m.

November 9 — AI Masterclass & Turtle Island Tour: workshops on AI filmmaking and a tour of Kura-Kura Island.
