Summer in Bedugul: Gebogan Parade & Kecak at Ulun Danu Temple

In the peak season, Bali welcomes guests in grand style, and this summer, the main stage for celebrations is Bedugul. On the shores of Lake Beratan, at the iconic Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, as well as in the neighboring The Blooms Garden flower park, the Gebogan Parade will take place daily from July to August — a colorful procession featuring traditional offerings, music, and dance. The format, successfully tested for three consecutive years, is expanding: on weekdays, the procession will occur in the temple complex, while on weekends, it will move to the park.

The official schedule will be published on the temple's social media pages closer to the start of July, but organizers are already preparing for the influx of visitors, especially towards the end of June: applications have been received from student groups from Java and tourists from Australia, China, India, and Europe. Besides the processions, spectators can enjoy evening performances of Kecak and Barong dances.
