“I’m in Bali,” Snoop Dogg wrote under one of his recent Facebook posts — and the image quickly caught the attention of Indonesian social media. The post collected around 48,000 likes and 2,500 comments. Some users soon noticed that the photo was AI-generated.

The image shows familiar Bali details: a beige Vespa, a traditional Balinese shirt, and a recognizable island backdrop. It resembles what Snoop Dogg might look like on the island — with one obvious exception. Indonesia has strict laws regarding drugs. In reality, the rapper did not travel to Bali. Instead, he once again used AI-generated imagery to engage his audience, this time in Indonesia.

It remains unclear why Snoop Dogg chose to publish fake travel photos. The American rapper could easily afford to visit Bali in person. However, a quick look at his social media shows that AI-generated images featuring himself make up a large portion of his recent content — roughly 90 percent of his posts.

Shortly before the New Year, Snoop Dogg had already shared AI images supposedly taken in Indonesia, featuring Eminem and 50 Cent alongside him.

In one image, the trio appears inside a local Indonesian coffee shop (warung kopi). The main figure is dressed in a white tank top, a blue checkered sarong, and green flip-flops, holding a cigarette. The scene is rendered with impressive detail — even instant coffee packets can be seen hanging on the wall.
Another image shows Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and 50 Cent sitting on the ground with locals at a traditional warung. According to the caption, they are having rice, fish, and tempeh for lunch.

In yet another scene, the rappers are no longer focused on food but are shown playing a traditional Indonesian game with a local resident.
No Bali visit would be complete without motorbikes. In the AI images, the trio appears riding large motorcycles after choosing between popular models like the Yamaha NMAX and Honda PCX. None of them are wearing helmets — a reminder that such behavior should not be copied in real life.

Snoop Dogg’s Facebook page also features AI-generated images from other countries, including India and the Philippines. Some experts suggest this strategy helps maintain global visibility and engagement. Audiences across Asia tend to respond enthusiastically to celebrity-related content, which often goes viral and attracts millions of views.
