Bali’s Museum Pasifika Named Among World’s Best

Museum Pasifika in Nusa Dua has received the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026 award. This is Tripadvisor’s highest award category, given to places that have received exceptionally high ratings and reviews from travellers over the past year.

According to Tripadvisor, Best of the Best winners are among the top 1% of listings on the platform. Museum Pasifika’s page currently shows a rating of 4.7 and more than 1,500 reviews.
The museum is located in the ITDC tourist complex in Nusa Dua. Its collection includes more than 600 works by artists from Indonesia, Asia, the Pacific region and Europe. The collection features paintings, sculptures and historical works connected to the culture of the Asia-Pacific region.
Artists mentioned in materials about the museum include Walter Spies, Rudolf Bonnet, Arie Smit, Theo Meier, Antonio Blanco and Raden Saleh. Part of the collection is dedicated to artists who worked in Bali and influenced how the island was perceived outside Indonesia.
This is not the first time Museum Pasifika has been recognised by Tripadvisor. It also received similar awards in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00. Visitors usually allow 1–2 hours for a visit. In addition to the permanent collection, the museum runs educational programmes and workshops, including batik, Balinese dance, ceramics and carving.
