In Klungkung, the first 'smart' solar panel installation, Smart PV Rooftop, has been launched in Bali. They started mounting them directly on the roof of the Galiran market — and this is just the beginning.

The panels not only generate energy but also manage its delivery. The sun charges the batteries, and the system 'thinks' about the best time to supply electricity to the grid. Everything can be controlled via a smartphone — from lights to locks and cameras.
By the end of the year, the installation will deliver up to 1 megawatt of power, and later — one hundred. This will reduce carbon emissions by about a thousand tons per year, as if 50,000 trees were planted.
Klungkung has become a pilot region for clean energy. Authorities are already launching similar projects on Nusa Penida. Some residents will receive free network connections to make the 'green' future a reality.
