From 3 June to 12 July, the international photography festival FOTO Bali 2026 will be held at Nuanu Creative City in Tabanan.

This will be the second FOTO Bali festival. The first took place in 2025. This year, the organisers selected 36 artists from 24 countries. In total, almost 700 applications were submitted from more than 80 countries.
The theme of the 2026 festival is Afterimage — the impression that remains after what you’ve seen. The participants’ works explore memory, time, identity, history, and how photography changes the way we perceive an event after the shot has been taken.
The line-up includes photographers and visual artists from India, Italy, Australia, Brazil, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Kenya, Colombia, Argentina, and other countries. Eight artists from Indonesia have been included in the programme.
